“I started Jane’s beninners Pilates class in February, but had to stop after a stroke. Once I had clearance from my doctor, Jane worked with me in a private lesson. I only had a couple of these before she felt I was ready for joining the class. Yikes! I have to admit I was nervous about this because I only had the energy to do a few exercises, but that’s the best thing about doing Pilates with Jane and Amy, being in a class is almost like having a private lesson. They make sure we are all working to our own strength’s and various ailments. Even though we do moves as a group, everyone goes at their pace, some use other pieces of equipment to make it more of a workout, I relax when I’ve reached my limit – and that’s okay!”
“With each session I feel my confidence improve, my co-ordination is recovering, I am building in strength and I am supported all the way. I am so grateful for all the help and support that I have had since joining the classes, I couldn’t ask for better rehabilitation. Thank you ladies.”
Hello, I am Margot, I had two hip replacements three years ago. I came to Jane’s beginner Pilates class 18 months ago and have progressed so much in that time, that I am now so flexible and bendy and feel so good about myself. Jane has such patience and a lovely way of taking us through th exercises. Bend me stretch me I love it all, thanks Jane
When I started Pilates with Jane three years ago I had weak core muscles giving me daily back and shoulder aches and pains. I also discovered my spine was out of alignment. With regular classes my core muscles have strenghtened and my spine re aligned making me stronger, more confident and two centimeters taller!
Jane is encouraging and knowledgeable giving individual attention and guidance to all in her classes. I now go to both Jane and her daughter Amy for my weekly Pilates and love it! If you are thinking of starting don’t delay – I wish I’d started years ago.
